Morning :)
Woke up @ 5am, prepared and we took cab down to
Tanjong Pagar Railway Station for the tickets.
Short intro about the railway station.
It is owned by KTM ( Keretapi Tanah Melayu ).
Started operation after it was built in 1923, for passenger and goods to be transferred
to woodlands and to Johor Barhu.
As we are all first-timer who never take the train before,
we therefore wanted to try the ride and experience
before it's closure on 30th june 2011.
I know it looks kinda eerie over here, it's not a haunted house.
The wall paintings and architecture have this very Venice & Rome building style.
Imagine those right infront of the counter? 5am probably.
The counter only open at around 630am.
Finally got our tickets at ard 650am, $3 each (cheapest cabin fee).
There's also $6 and $13 ones, but think only train to Kuala Lumpur.
We can't choose our seats, it's free seating.
(Y) we can go JB~
If not we have to plan a backup plan of where to go,
so early in the morning.
The gate was open at 715am, again time to queue.
Weather was so hot!!
Walk straight up after getting our white card and stamp,
we are trying to board the train.
Seriously so packed, until free-seating become free-standing.
There's this big group of Whampoa GRC people, mostly aunties and uncles,
probably also first time riding the train.
Below are the interior of the cabin.
I was standing infront of 14C and 14D.
Train is damn packed, around 750plus then the journey started.
The two aunty (from whampoa grc) infront of me,
keep on complaining about the cabin why so hot,
no aircon etc.
What to expect when you only paid $3, hello~
and you get a seat and we're standing.
though perspiring quite alot due to the weather,
it's part of the experience.

Below the pic, was actually a guy running to get up the train before it goes off.
Wasted, if i'm near the door, i would get down too.
*it's somewhere near the clementi area, behind KAP area*
after gone thru we have to queue again.
See the situation above, it was around 845am.
The people right infront of the door is the whampoa grc people.
There was this tour guide for the grc people,
shouting damn loudly at the area.
SIBEI 丢脸!! 丢 all singporeans de 脸.
He said to the grc aunty and uncle,
敢敢跑到前面,用力挤到前面,等一下才会有位子坐。
( be more daring to run to the front, push to the front, and you later get a seat )
As you know some elderly are older, they walk slower and
unsure where to queue.
The tour guide being irritatingly loud again, shouted:
哎哟,你们这么慢。没有位子是你们的事。
(Aiyo, you all are too slow. Later if you never have a seat, not my problem)
THIS KIND OF TOUR GUIDE, SERIOUSLY CAN GO BANG WALL AND DIE!
he is supposed to takecare of the elderly and not say such mean words.
Got into a better cabin and we proceed to JB Sentral, reached within 5mins
from the woodland checkpoint.
Roughly reach around 9:15am.
We went to walk around City Square Mall,
which is located direct opposite the train station.
Wanted go starbucks, they are still preparing for store operation,
so we head to Macdonalds for ice milo and hashbrown breakfast.
Rest awhile and most of the shops only open @ 10am.
Realise something everywhere we go, it seems like JB is saving electricity
on their aircon. Most of the shops we enter,
we can feel the heat and perspire, kinda humid.
Thank god we have this:

Wanted to have A&W, don't have over there.
Walked around the mall to look for dimsum, but also don't have.
There were 3 Hongkong cafes (wang jiao, kim gary & another ulu one)
but all don't have dimsum :(
we just walk into hong kong kim gary for our lunch.
Food was not bad, but i think Singapore is nicer.
Quite cheap too, 53 ringgit for everything :)
The shops over there is about the same as singapore too,
just price difference and not a lot.
watson, guardian, face shop, body shop, tony moly, etude house, skinfood,
food junction, mac, kfc, mango, wedding shops, bossini, starbucks, coffeebean
secret recipe and alot more.
Seriously nothing much to shop there, we went for massage.
First time i tried body massage,
i'm the type of person who is scared of itchiness and pain,
so i seldom go for massage.
It was itchy and i kept on laughing~
the uncle either think i'm too happy for his service and enjoying,
he massage even harder on my stiff shoulders.
Kinda pain and idk if it was called enjoying.
Rm 25 for 20mins.
My shoulder was red after that.
Gaee and huaizhong tried foot massage, for 30mins Rm 35.
Shop for some things that we saw.
We also bought some 豆沙饼 back for our parents and
went for dinner at around 6plus 7.
Dinner was settle @ Stonegrill.
They are really cousin, also same reaction :)
Took out ga-ee angry bird that she bought, to play.
It's a cushion.
*thumbs up*
We had teriyaki chicken stick, salmon and chicken chop.
Around 7plus we decided to take bus home and not by train.
Walked around to find the bus stop, because 3 of us are really first time there
and just explore around.
There signboard saying where to head to woodlands.
And we reach this place, to take bus to woodlands.
can take both 160/170.
Then we finally found our way and took the bus to woodlands for checkout and declaration.
Walk to woodlands checkpoint downstairs and it's bus stop,
we took bus 170 home.
Ga-ee alighted at Kranji Mrt, we alighted at the little india station,
near bugis to take bus 851 home.
Okay that's about it. Fun day~ :)
